Zerops is a set of computing primitives built for the AI era, written from scratch and run on our own hardware. They cover an application's whole lifecycle, from the first line of code to production, so a coding agent working on Zerops can show that its change works, not just say what it changed. Three products sit on top:
- Platform, where engineering teams develop their applications and run them in highly available production.
- Mate, an AI engineer you hire: an extra pair of hands for a team, or the team itself for someone who has none.
- Box, a real Linux machine per user, task or session, for products that run AI agents or code they can't trust.
We're hiring the person who makes Zerops the easiest thing for developers to try, and the most visible in the community building with AI.
Remote, ideally in the US.
What you'll own
Everything a developer touches on the way in, across all three products:
- Recipes, ready-made stacks for the software people already run, and the system that produces them.
- Integrations that put Box and Mate inside the tools developers already build and work with.
- Docs and onboarding.
- Cookbooks, demos and video.
- Community, online and at events.
- Product feedback, carried from developers back to engineering.
Who you are
- 5 to 8 years across engineering and developer relations.
- You've built AI agents, and shipped integrations, recipes or cookbooks other developers use.
- You explain by building: a working demo, a cookbook entry, a short video.
- You've grown a developer community and can show what it produced.
- You're at ease on camera.
- You've led or coached a small team.
A bonus:
- Developers building AI agents know your work.
- You speak at AI engineering events.
Not the role for you if:
- you don't write code,
- you report success in followers and views.
The team
You report to our VP Marketing & Growth, a role we're also hiring for; until they start, to Aleš, the CEO. You lead a team of three covering technical content, community and docs.
