Founded in 2024 by Aleš and Honza with Czech Republic's top developer, devops and networking talent, Zerops is a vshosting.eu spin‑off, building on two decades of managed hosting experience.

The cloud made developers choose. Managed platforms trade visibility for convenience and charge you for the privilege. Self‑hosted PaaS on a cheap VPS nails the economics but you manage everything. And when you outgrow both, the industry answer is big cloud — with the overhead, the complexity, and the bill to make most teams quit before they ever get anywhere near production.

We didn't want to build on top of any of that. Every layer of Zerops was written from scratch — Incus containers, VXLAN networking, our own L3/L7 balancing — running on our own AMD EPYC hardware with NVMe storage and ECC RAM across high‑tier datacenters with n+1 redundancy. No off‑the‑shelf orchestration, no hyperscaler middleman — just our hardware, our software, our prices.

The philosophy follows from the architecture. You deploy in minutes and still know exactly what's running, what it costs, how it's configured. Depth when you need it, out of the way when you don't. Readable, transparent config — no abstractions hiding your infrastructure, no zero‑config magic that works until it doesn't.

And of course — GDPR and DPA compliant, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 in progress (done in April), with datacenters in the EU and US and Asia on the way.
